When you request an appointment

We use your name, email address, phone number, and any optional details only to respond to your request. We send a confirmation to the email address you provide, without your selections or optional message. Sending the form does not book an appointment.

Website measurement

If you allow Analytics, we measure page views and actions such as call taps and appointment requests. We do not add form answers, phone numbers, contact details, or precise location to analytics events. Analytics and Marketing tools stay off until you choose them.

Session recording

Care Net uses Hoot Lens, a Parallel Platforms product, to record how visitors use our public homepage in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole, and our About Us page, at carenetirc.org and carenetirc.com. Recording is not used on any other page. It is never used on appointment, intake, Chat, Team Portal, donor, or other private pages, and the recording tool is not loaded on them. If you open an appointment request, Chat, or another private interaction on a recorded page, recording stops for that page. We use what we learn to understand how visitors use these pages and to improve them.

Recording captures clicks, scrolling, pointer movement, and the page as displayed, including its text and images. It never captures form inputs such as text typed into forms, passwords, payment fields, or one-time codes, and it never captures anything marked private.

For most visitors in the US, recording is on by default. You can turn recording off or back on at any time with the Session recording option in Privacy choices. Your choice is remembered on this browser. If you visit from the European Union or European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or the US states of Washington, Nevada, or Connecticut, we ask before recording and record only if you agree. We also ask first when we cannot tell where you are visiting from. We estimate your location from your IP address with an offline database, and we do not store your IP address or your location. We never record browsers that send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. A short notice may appear on the page.

Recordings are kept for a limited period, currently 14 days. They are stored with Google Cloud (Firebase and Cloud Storage) in the United States. Aggregated click statistics that do not identify you may be processed by OpenAI to suggest improvements for our website team. Recordings and page text are not sent to OpenAI.

To ask for access to or deletion of recordings, contact us using the details at the end of this page. Turning recording off does not delete recordings already sent. A deletion request does.

Services that support this website

Firebase supports private site sessions and stored appointment requests. Hoot Lens, from Parallel Platforms, records homepage sessions where recording applies, and stores them with Google Cloud. Netlify hosts the website. Resend sends appointment confirmations and team alerts. Google Analytics measures sanitized page visits after Analytics consent. Meta Pixel counts page visits on approved public pages after Marketing consent and receives standard browser and network information when it loads. CallRail is not active on this website.

Your choices

Analytics and marketing choices are optional, and your recording choice can be changed from Privacy choices. None of them affect appointment requests or phone access. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time. This website preference is not a medical authorization. Please call 911 for immediate emergency help.

Website Chat

Chats on this website may be answered by Care Net's AI assistant, and authorized Care Net team members can read them and join at any time. To write replies, chat messages are sent to the assistant's provider, OpenAI. Chat is not emergency care.
